Short version: your audio never leaves your device, and there are no accounts.
Microphone audio
The mic test and spectrum analyzer process audio in your browser. It is not recorded to any server. The 5-second recording on the mic test is held in memory for playback and discarded when you leave the page.
Stored in your browser
The hearing test saves your most recent result in your browser's localStorage under the key atp-hearing-v1, so you can compare results next time. It never leaves your device.
AI troubleshooting assistant
If you use the "Describe it" assistant, the text you type, the device and system you select, and (on the mic test) numeric level readings are sent to our server and passed to an AI model via Vercel AI Gateway to generate an answer. We do not store these requests. Do not include personal information.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect personal data.
Contact
AudioTest Pro has no accounts and no mailing list. We keep no personal data about visitors.
