What Data We Collect

None. Zero. Nada.

AudioTest Pro does not collect any personal information, audio data, or usage data from our users. All audio processing happens entirely in your web browser using the Web Audio API.

Local Storage Only

We use browser storage technologies (IndexedDB) to store:

• Hearing Test Results: Stored locally in your browser for your personal tracking
• User Preferences: Settings like theme, volume, and measurement units
• Tool Configurations: Recent tone settings, sweep configurations, and presets

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time from the Settings page.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Ahrefs Web Analytics is privacy-focused and does not:

• Use cookies or track users across sites
• Collect personal information
• Create user profiles
• Share data with third parties

Analytics data collected is limited to: page views, referral sources, and general usage patterns. All data is anonymized and aggregated.

Cookies

AudioTest Pro does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Any cookies used are strictly functional (e.g., remembering your preferences) and do not track you across websites.

Third-Party Services

AudioTest Pro does not integrate with any third-party services that collect personal data.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps) for infrastructure purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no data to request, export, or delete from our servers. However, you have full control over local data:

• Clear History: Delete hearing test results from the Settings page
• Clear Browser Data: Clear all site data through your browser settings
• Stop Using the Service: Simply close the browser tab

Data Security

Since all audio processing happens in your browser and we don't collect data, there's no server-side data to secure. Your locally stored data is protected by your browser's security features and your device's security.

Children's Privacy

AudioTest Pro does not collect any data from users of any age. The service is safe for all ages, though we recommend parental supervision for hearing tests to ensure safe volume levels.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of AudioTest Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
